The fabric is rubberized, it is very comfortable and sticks like glue including against skin. I have personally used this holster for 5 months. It is extremely comfortable and easy to use and adjust for sitting, standing, driving, and removing. When I go to the Post Office, I remove the holster and pistol and insert into my Bulldog (BD1126) gun vault never unholstering the pistol. The pictures with the Black background are the actual holster that I have been carrying. It is well made and high quality… much better than other sticky style holsters. Update 8/7/2017 I just spent two weeks in Las Vegas never without my Mainstay Holster. I walked in and out of many Casino's, Restaurants, Convention Halls, and Hotels, not once did my concealed carry print or show or arouse any attention. I specifically went out into the desert for a little practice, I did not experience any issues with the high temperatures.
