Feedback System
How to leave feedback for sellers, understand feedback ratings, and build your buyer reputation.
Leaving Feedback
After completing a transaction, both buyers and sellers are encouraged to leave feedback about their experience. Feedback consists of a rating (positive, neutral, or negative) and a written comment describing the transaction. When leaving feedback, consider the accuracy of the item description, the seller's communication and responsiveness, the shipping speed and packaging quality, and the overall value of the transaction. Be honest and constructive in your comments. Feedback is visible to all users and contributes to the overall trust and transparency of the marketplace.
Understanding Feedback Ratings
Each user on WeaponDepot has a feedback score and a positive feedback percentage. The feedback score is the total number of positive ratings minus the total number of negative ratings. The positive feedback percentage is calculated over the most recent 12 months of transactions. A high positive feedback percentage indicates a reliable seller or buyer. When making purchasing decisions, review a seller's feedback score and read recent comments from other buyers. Pay attention to patterns in the feedback: consistently positive comments about fast shipping, accurate descriptions, and good communication are strong indicators of a trustworthy seller.
Resolving Feedback Disputes
If you receive feedback that you believe is unfair or inaccurate, you can respond to the feedback with your side of the story. This response is visible to all users alongside the original feedback. If you believe the feedback violates WeaponDepot's policies (for example, it contains profanity, personal information, or is demonstrably false), you can request a review by contacting WeaponDepot support. Feedback removal is granted only in cases where the feedback clearly violates platform policies. Building a strong track record of positive transactions is the best way to counteract occasional negative feedback.
