Self-Service Advertising
Promote your listings with featured placements, banner ads, and sponsored positions to increase visibility and sales.
Advertising Options
Self-Service Advertising allows you to boost the visibility of your listings and storefront without waiting for editorial placement. From your seller dashboard, you can select individual listings to promote as Featured Listings, which appear at the top of search results and category pages with a 'Featured' badge. You can also purchase banner ad placements on high-traffic pages, sponsor your storefront on the homepage, and include your products in the platform's email newsletter. Each advertising option has different pricing and visibility characteristics, allowing you to choose the right mix for your budget and goals.
Setting Up a Campaign
To create an advertising campaign, navigate to the Advertising section of your seller dashboard. Select the listings or storefront you want to promote, choose your advertising type (Featured Listing, Banner, Spotlight, or Newsletter), set your daily or total budget, and select the campaign duration. You can target your ads to specific categories or let the platform automatically place them where they will receive the most visibility. Review your campaign details and launch it. Most campaigns are reviewed and approved within a few hours. You can pause, adjust, or cancel your campaigns at any time through the dashboard.
Measuring Results
Track your advertising performance through the campaign analytics dashboard. Monitor key metrics including impressions (how many times your ad was displayed), clicks (how many times buyers clicked on your ad), click-through rate (the percentage of impressions that resulted in clicks), and conversions (sales that originated from ad clicks). Use these metrics to optimize your campaigns over time. If a particular listing is getting many impressions but few clicks, consider improving the listing's title, main photo, or price. If a listing gets clicks but few sales, review the listing's description, additional photos, and overall value proposition.
